I've got 96.5 GIGs in my saved mods folder, which contains 23,436 Files, 3,580 Folders. I hit the mods section of the nexus, every time, before I come to the forums.

My name is Storm, I've been a mod addict for over 20 years. That, on top of the fact that they leave it to US to keep the fascination for their games going. They're buggy, they're crashy, and Beth doesn't do anything about it. Modders are literally the bread and butter for Bethesda.

(Chinese stealth suit, anybody?) Which on top of that, are in a file format that can eventually cause CTD, Savegame corruptions (on consoles, mostly) and if overdone, cause you to have to remove other mods, just to install new ones, if you go past the ESL limit. Or about a company that turns free mods into something that you have to pay for. Sadly though, there's nothing that can really be done about that with a lot of the MMORPG games that I really like.ĭon't even get me started about Creation Club. It really taught me to make working backups of my modded games, and invest a lot of time in finding ways to keep the games from phoning home and get those updates.

Seems like They release an update every other couple of weeks, JUST to mess up the mods. Fortunely those mods should get their updates soon and big thanks and respect to modders for it to keep their work alive.ġ) At least this isn't like running a modded GTA V game. I love modding Fallout 3, NV and 4 and just got Fallout 4 run smoothly just the way that i want and now this update messed some of my mods and the game wont run properly.

It's so bad if updates just contains CC stuff and nothing inside the game. Have to turn automatic updates off if this is the case. I might sound cynical, but after recent news about what Bethesda's been doing, nothing would not surprise me. So i was thinking that is Bethesda these days really even updating the game or just adding new stuff into Creation Club? At least my cleaned esm files got their dirty edits etc back so.? It's f***ing annoying if updates just screw the game up (modded game) for the new content into Creation Club and don't even fix anything inside the game. Fallout 4 just got an update again (21.11.19), but i couldn't find any info about what is being held in that update except new content into creation club. There will likely be plenty of more patches to come, and the Modding community will hopefully receive a bone.Hello everyone. But a hundred testers will never replicate the many millions playing the game now, and we’re hard at work addressing the top issues.” Given the scale and complexity of the systems at work, especially when allowing you to build your own settlements, we’re happy that Fallout 4 is our most robust and solid release ever, and we’d like to thank our amazing QA staff who worked as hard as anyone to break the game so we could fix it during development. “It’s true that the freedom our games offer you can lead to unintentional consequences that are sometimes bad, when the game combines too many unexpected elements at once. Concerning unintentional consequences, a Bethesda Game Studios representative wrote: “ Just launch the game and don’t click ‘PLAY.’ Then open Nexus mod manager and activate the mods, then on the launcher click ‘PLAY’ and mods will be active.” With all patches it seems new problems emerge, and it’s so far unknown if Bethesda will address this issue. This problem has been reported on Reddit and one user suggests a simple workaround.
#Fallout 4 updates Patch
Players have noted that the patch may inadvertently disable a few Fallout 4 community-created mods. Noticeably different from the Beta is the fact that they improved performance issues inside of the “Corvega Assembly Plant.” They also optimized rendering of “skinned decal,” and remedied problems with “players becoming stuck in terminals.” The official PC Patch has undergone a few changes compared to the Beta released on November 24, and as of now, Bethesda claims these patch notes will be the same for each platform-besides the fixes for PC’s number pad keys.
